Many years ago backpacking through Europe we discovered Blumats in a small gardening store and were captivated by the simplicity and ingenuity behind the system. We couldn't believe they have been around for more than 50 years and nobody in America had ever heard of them. We couldn't let that stand.
Blumats were introduced to the world in 1965, with a hero product called the Blumat Tropf. It senses when the soil starts to dry out and releases water until the soil is wet and the dripping stops, all without any electricity. In over 50 years the design hasn't changed, because of how incredibly well it works. After learning how popular they were in European gardens and greenhouses, we decided it was time to bring them to the U.S. Blumat Tropf is now Blumat Drip. The new way to water plants in America.
Your plant decides when to drink.
Blumat Drip systems read what's happening at the root zone and respond. If your plant is thirsty, they water it. If it just rained, or it isn't thirsty, they don't.
Every drop has a purpose.
