How to Set Up Your System
Takes just a few minutes. Once set up, your plants water themselves.
Fill a Bottle
Fill a standard plastic bottle with water.
Attach Blumat Easy
Screw the Blumat Easy adapter onto the bottle.
Pierce Air Hole
Make a small air hole in the bottle base so water can flow steadily.
Insert Near Roots
Turn the bottle over and push the clay stake into moist soil.
Important setup note
Fits most standard plastic bottles from 0.5 to 2 liters.
First-water check
Check the system after the first day and adjust if the soil is too wet or too dry.

Not at all. If you can use scissors, you can set this up. Simply soak the ceramic sensors, fill them with water, place them into the soil, and connect the tubing between each plant.
Most starter kits include everything needed to begin watering your plants. You may only need a separate water container like a bucket or reservoir depending on your setup.
Yes. The system works well with larger pots, raised beds, and mature plants. You can also expand the setup with additional drippers to distribute water more evenly across bigger growing areas.
The system does not require electricity, timers, or pumps to operate. It continues watering normally even during power outages.
