Turn the bottle over and push the clay stake into moist soil.

The clay spike is the heart of every Blumat Easy. Hollow-cast and fired at over 1,000°C from a precise natural-clay mixture, each one is tested batch by batch. The top is shaped to fit the neck of any standard plastic bottle from 0.5 to 2 liters — turning a bottle you already have into a watering reservoir.

The Soil Dries
Between waterings, the soil around the spike loses moisture and the clay tip starts to dry along with it.
The Spike Releases Water
As the clay dries, water from the upside-down bottle seeps through the spike and into the soil — slowly, steadily, only as needed.
