Every 8 mm fitting needs 8 mm tubing on either side of it. Pick up some extra so you're not stuck mid-install.
Installation Guide
How to Set Up Your System
Takes just a few minutes. Once set up, your plants water themselves.
Step 1
Identify the Line
Match the part to the correct 8 mm feeding tube or 3 mm drip tube connection.
Step 2
Cut Cleanly
Use a clean square cut so the tube seats tightly.
Step 3
Install the Fitting
Push the tube fully onto the connector, valve or support.
Step 4
Check for Leaks
Run water through the system and inspect the connection before leaving it unattended.
Important setup note
Each dripper waters about 8 in wide and chains can run up to 39 in from the sensor. Minimum system pressure is 4.5 psi; lower pressure may reduce flow at the last dripper or two. Add a filter if you run nutrients through the system to prevent clogs.
It's good to have extras
You never know when you're going to want to expand or modify your system. A few extra bucks is cheap peace of mind in case you make a mistake during setup.

Confirm the Size
8 mm fittings only work with 8 mm supply tubing. 3mm fittings work with 3mm drip tubing
Cut Tube
Use sharp scissors or a tube cutter for a square cut. Crushed or angled cuts leak.
Push It On
Seat the tubing fully onto each barb of the fitting. A snug fit holds without clamps or glue.
Test the Flow
Run water through the system and check for leaks before walking away.
Walk Away
Once it's installed and tested, you're good to go.
